Product Design
Our sporks combine the three functions required for eating: a fork, a knife blade and a scoop-shaped spoon.
SAFETY - The blade portion can be found on one edge
of the fork end portion and is lightly serrated to cut softer meats
and most foods whilst still being safe to use to eat with. Do take
a couple of minutes to familiarise yourself with the fork end before
use so that you know the precise design and can avoid any risks as
a result of inappropriate use.
Do advise your guests or persons to whom you provide the sporks about
the design and of the serrated cutting edge in particular. Be especially
careful when giving sporks to children to use. Supervision is appropriate
until they get used to the design.
Sporks are akin to, say, a grapefruit spoon which may have serrations
on both edges of the spoon bowl. Sporks are only serrated on one edge.
None of our many customers has ever expressed concerns or told us
of any problems through using these sporks. Indeed, please take a
look at our Customer Feedback page to assess how they are received.
If in doubt, you may wish to order, say, the minimum number of 2 sporks
so that you may assess for yourself how well they work before placing
a larger order.
Spoon
A party fork can be used as a spoon for eating all kinds of foods such as stew, vegetables, Chinese food, pudding, etc. Eating with just a spoon has many limits, when you compare to eating with a spork.
Fork
Using it as a fork is even better than a regular fork. Eating spaghetti with a spork, makes it easier to cut and it also holds the food much easier because of its up-curved edges.
Knife
The serrated edge of the fork is used to cut potatoes, fish, chicken and other soft meats and vegetables that would normally require a knife but is safe to eat with.
Size
Each fork is 6.75" (17 cm) long which is an ideal size for young and old alike.
